MVP Baseball 2005 is a 32-bit game. By default, Windows limits 32-bit processes to about 2 GB of virtual address space. When you run large mods (HD models, high-res portraits, big stadium packs, etc.), the game can easily hit that limit and crash. -- This 4GB LAA Patch is only useful on 64-bit Windows. -- Helps with heavy Total Conversion-style mods or large texture/model packs. -- It doesn’t guarantee stability - some setups still crash if the content is simply too big. -- If something goes wrong, just restore the original .exe. -- You only need to patch the executable you actually launch. -

Loc Look allows modders to edit the FEENG.LOC file for MVP Baseball 2005 [and other LOC files]. An updated COMDLG32.OCX file is needed to run this app on Windows 10 [the OS I am using]. The default COMDLG32.OCX that ships with Windows 10 is outdated and will not run Loc Look. The version included in this download is 6.1.98.41 Simply place a copy of COMDLG32.OCX in the Windows\System32 folder and the Windows\SysWOW64 folder. There is no need to register the OCX files in Command Prompt. -

I'm very happy to see this back on the website! Besides the Total Classics Mods from 1968, 1974, 1978 & 1984 and the softball Total Conversion Mod, we need to keep adding more stuff onto this website that's currently not present and I'll be patient as that happens! -

This file updates your MLB Schedule to the 2025 schedule. (It does not effect Minor League Schedules.) Installation Instructions 1. Backup your original schedule.big file in Program Files/MVP Baseball 2005/data/database folder. 2. Copy the schedule.big file you just downloaded to your Program Files/MVP Baseball 2005/data/database folder. 3. Confirm replace. 4. The 2025 MLB Schedule should be loaded into MVP. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Additional Instructions To change the year to 2025, rather than the default 2005, use tywiggins' Schedule Updater/Year Changer! 1. When you get to the team select screen, ALT-TAB out of MVP. 2. Load Schedule Updater. 3. Select option 1 and change the year to 2025 and choose if you want players' ages to change. 4. Select option 3, and choose "7" to set the schedule to start on March 25. 5. MVP Baseball 2005 Defensive Rating Calculator View File DEFENSIVE RATING CALCULATOR README ---------------------------------- This program calculates a player's fielding, range, throwing strength, and accuracy. All you need to do is fill in the necessary statistics, and the program will calculate the player's ratings, specifically for MVP Baseball 2005. The calculator will also estimate the innings played, if the user does not input inning data. This is useful for when calculating minor leaguers, as finding innings played data is just about impossible. ==The Import/Export Feature== Included in the .7z file is a sample inputFielding.csv file. DO NOT RENAME OR EDIT THE FIRST ROW. Just enter the statistics under each corresponding column: Name,Level,Position,GP,PO,A,E,Innings. You can use Excel or many other spreadsheet programs, or use notepad and seperate each stat by a comma (,), to enter your stats. If a fielder's innings played is unavailable just enter 0. Stats can be found at Baseball-Reference.com, which you can find a link to in the program. Defensive formulas are HARD to come up with, and I think I did a pretty decent job.
