Here's a Team Changer tool and here's what the readme file says:

This program requires that you have .NET Framework 2.0 installed.
Get it from microsoft.com/downloads

Instructions:
1. Extract the files to some directory.
2. Run MVP Baseball 2005 and load a saved dynasty.
3. Run the program, and it pick your team.
4. This will give you control of the team you chose.
